Sri Balamurugan Polytechnic started in 2008 is a brain child of Om Muruga Educational trust run by well educated, service minded , socially responsible individuals. The main objective of the college is the upliftment of rural students by providing need based technical education as well as inculcating human values and moral responsibilities.
Sri Balamurugan Polytechnic College is located in Thalaiyuthu, right in between Palani and Udumalai just off NH209.it is located in a serene and fertile plain surrounded by Shanmuga River in the east and Amaravathi River in the west.
